A Prayer For Strength

A prayer that would give us strength. We all need this in times of "being down" and seems the world are against us. I've syndicated this from one of the contributors of this blog.

Here it goes:

My Lord God, through whom strength is made perfect in weakness, I pray to you, give me the strength I need.

You have said, that to your children who have no might, you will increase strength. I am weak. Bless me with a measure of strength, as may be sufficient for me.

When I am tempted by evil, deliver me, by granting me the power to overcome it. When my daily work is too hard for me, give me the strength to be able to do it.

If my burden oppresses me beyond my bearing, lighten my load, that my strength may be equal to it.

You have helped many, I beg you to help me.

Thank you my Lord.

Amen.

I Hate The Night

I hate the night, memories of past conquers my mind and my soul. And the present situation added on it. I can't sleep. They keep back bad memories of past. Things that I want to forget and bury beneath my soul. I've encountered so many sleepless nights from it. That's why I'm here, writing this post, hoping that this would lessen the feelings I felt.

It seems there's nothing I've done wrong with the past, but they keep on chasing me. I don't know what to do. Maybe there are things that I've not completely done or unfinished scenarios on my past. There are times that I sat alone and reminisce the things I've done, tears falls down my cheeks on unhappy moments and a smile paints on my face for the happy ones. Maybe I need someone to accompany me on times like this. Someone who would care for me and love me for who I am and what I am.

That's was all from the past...

For now, I also felt the feeling of emptiness, discontentment and failure. Emptiness, I always felt that there's something lacks on me. There are something I want but I can't figure it out. It sounds weird but I can't help it. Discontentment, I'm not contented for the life I had now, maybe it is right that others says that, "man has no contentment at all". As long as you live, there are so many things that you want to get and achieve. Failure, may this is the root of all that painful and sleepless nights. Maybe I wouldn't elaborate this because most of us knew things about failures. What I'm talking about is the failure that we get as we feel the feeling of love. Maybe rejection would be the right term for me.

All of that was because of the night. My lonely night. I hate the night. You might call me stupid, blaming the night for all of this. But I'm hoping that the end of this would come. Hope to have it soon..... :(

Love and Doubt?

This is for all the people out there, whom experienced to loved and to fail in the word of what you call love. ;)

I know that most of us had experienced to love and be loved. There's the feeling of happiness, satisfaction and contentment. The eagerness to show your love in most appropriate way. To show your care, how she/he means for you, and doing the things that she/he wanted you to do. That's few of the feelings of being in love. Am I right?

Hmmm, for my part I've also felt that things, maybe more than that. There's a girl that I've fallen to. She's kind, beautiful, adorable and jolly (as she says). I've known her for a very short span of time. And to my surprise, I didn't meant to fall in love with her. Actually, I've just wake up one morning and I've realized my feelings for her. There's the feeling of fear and doubt. Fear, fear of losing her If she would knew my feelings for her, and doubt, doubt if she could give back what I've felt for her. But, I'm not hoping for that one. All I want is to make her feel that she's special to me. That I care for her and I'm always here right beside her, willing to be with her in times of ups and downs.

I also knew that she's not so fond of me, I'm not that "good looking guy" nor that "tall , dark, and handsome" type. All that can give is my undying love and care. In spite of that, the feeling of happiness and contentment gives me strength to move on. What matters most, is that I've confessed to her what I've felt.

Now, I'm trying to forget her, not totally forgetting all of her, just my feelings for her. I just want to thank her, because of her I've experienced the true meaning of what they call love. I'll just just bear in mind, were friends forever, ;).
